Volunteer with Lifeline
By volunteering your time and skills to Lifeline, you can help people in crisis.
Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury is a not for profit organisation that relies on support from within our community to continue the vital life-saving services that it provides to the local community and beyond.
Volunteers are the heart, soul and backbone of our organisation.
We simply could not offer the range of services that we provide today, were it not for our volunteers.
Lifeline Shop volunteering opportunities
Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury recently opened a new Lifeline Shop in Naremburn. The newer stores are always looking for more people to give a helping hand. The well established stores are similarly keen to see some new faces. So if you think you’d be interested in volunteering in a variety of roles, including helping to set the store up for trade, serving customers, sorting/collecting donationsl; then get in contact with us at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
So who and what are we looking for?
We seek people from all walks of life who would like to make a commitment to regular volunteer work, and who are willing to learn new skills, support others and work within the vision and values of Lifeline.
A wide range of opportunities
Our wonderful, fully trained, Telephone Crisis Supporter volunteers are the bedrock of our organisation, and we are always seeking more of the right kind of people for our important Telephone Crisis Support service. But from our shops and book fairs to our fundraising events, from our financial and psychological counsellors to the Community Aid volunteers who provide help to local aged people, there are very many areas of our organisation where opportunities exist for dedicated and reliable volunteers to make a real difference.
